Personal information we obtain and why

The personal information that the buyer has to enter when ordering:

Name and surname – Used exclusively for order tracking and final invoice creation
OIB (personal identity number) – Used solely when making a final invoice in case the buyer is a legal person from the Republic of Croatia
Email address – Used exclusively to contact the buyer in case of change of order status and any additional order-related enquiries
Phone – Used exclusively to contact the buyer when changing the order status and any additional ordering enqueries
Address, zip code, city, state – Used exclusively for sending the purchased item(s) and invoice
     
The buyer’s personal information is stored on the web server at https://cikcak-art.hr.
The CIK-CAK ART j.d.o.o. is obligated to protect the privacy of all our customers and website users and all the information contained in the buyer’s payment slip is strictly kept and only available to the staff within CIK-CAK ART j.d.o.o. This information is required solely for processing the order and sending the purchased product to the address provided by the buyer. The personal data are not used for any other purpose nor are conceded to the third party.

In case that the buyer does not want CIK-CAK ART j.d.o.o. in any way processing the personal information and requests the deletion of said information, one must send the request to the company CIK-CAK ART j.d.o.o. as follows: info@cikcak-art.hr

When paying via PayPal, the Privacy and Security Policy applies through PayPal. CIK-CAK ART does not collect any additional information via PayPal, but only information about a particular payment.

Comments

When visitors write a comment on our webpage, we collect the information displayed in the comment form and also the visitor’s IP address as well as the user agent string of browser to detect spam more easily.

It is possible that an anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) is provided to the Gravatar service to verify that you are the one using it. Gravatar services privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/ Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture is visible publicly in the context of your comment.

“Cookies”

If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save the name, email address, and the webpage in “cookies”. It makes easier for you to comment again, so you do not have to re-enter this information. These “cookies” stay valid for a year.

If you have an account and sign in to this website, we’ll set a temporary “cookie” to determine if your browser accepts “cookies”. This “cookie” does not contain personal information and is deleted when you turn off the browser.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored forever. That is why we can automatically identify and approve future comments instead of keeping them pending for approval.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information provided in their user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they can not change the username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

The rights you have over your data

If you have an account on our website or have written comments, you may ask to receive the export data file we have about you, including all the information you have already provided us. You can also request the deletion of all personal information we have about you. This does not include any information we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
